Audio files from the Fall 2008 Francis A. Schaeffer Lectures, focusing on the theme Taking Citizenship Seriously: Christian Responsibility in Today’s Political Context, are now available for free listening or download from Covenant Seminary’s Resources for Life.

The featured speaker for the Schaeffer Lectrues was Dr. Jim Skillen, president of the Center for Public Justice in Annapolis, Maryland. Other participants included, Mr. John Hancock, president, John Hancock and Associates, former Missouri State legislator, and former executive director of the Missouri Republican Party; Rep. Cynthia Davis, Missouri State Representative, 19th Disctrict; and Dr. Anthony B. Mens Leadership Breakfast Looks at the Role of Grace in Our Lives

Covenant Seminary’s popular Men’s Leadership Breakfast (MLB) series continues this fall with a focus on the theme “Grace Foundation for Daily Living: How Grasping Grace Transforms Daily Life.” Several Seminary faculty members—including Drs. Bryan Chapell, Jay Sklar, Jimmy Agan and Anthony Bradley will lead this powerful and insightful look at the thread of God’s grace through the Old and New Testaments.

The Breakfast meets at 7 a.m. in Buswell Library classroom B111 on the Seminary campus. Open to all men—invite your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and church leaders!
