Where am I?

From the President

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ—and welcome to Covenant Theological Seminary!

We’re pleased that you are visiting us through this site, and we hope you will enjoy learning more about us. If you are sensing a call of God on your life—whether it be to pastoral ministry, some other form of ministry leadership, or simply to enrich your personal understanding of the Bible—we are here to help.

Covenant Seminary exists to prepare God’s people for service to his church. We are eager to walk beside you before, during, and after your seminary experience to assist you in becoming rooted in God’s grace for a lifetime of fruitful, productive ministry that will have a tremendous impact for Christ’s Kingdom. For it is by God’s grace alone, and for his glory alone, that we do what we do—and we praise him for allowing us to play a part in his far-reaching plan to redeem the world through Jesus Christ. We invite you to be part of this exciting mission with us.

As you consider whether or not Covenant Seminary is right for you, please take a few minutes to peruse sections such as:

"In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit."

Ephesians 2:22

These particular areas of the site have been assembled for you to get a glimpse of who we are and what it is like to live, learn, worship, and grow together in this unique, grace-filled, covenantal community of believers.

While this site has several items to give you a taste of the “Covenant experience,” you must experience this place and the people for yourself through a personal campus visit. You’ll be able to meet and talk with some of our students, whom God has called here from all walks of life and many nations of the world. You’ll sit in on a class or two and sample the richness of our learning environment. You’ll have lunch with a professor and discover the depth of our faculty’s devotion to God, to the church, to scholarship, and to our students. Best of all, you’ll get a great sense the lively, loving extended family we are. I urge you to contact our Admissions staff today to arrange your campus visit. There really is no better way to get to know us.

We will be praying for you as you ponder God’s will for your life and seek to serve him faithfully. Please do not hesitate to contact the Admissions team if we can assist you in this process in any way. May the joy and peace that can only be found in Jesus Christ be yours—now and always.

In his name,

Bryan Chapell
President
